The main two buildings we picketed where Kings Court and
Rockingham Reports back where the mood was good humoured under the
circumstances. At both buildings
Comrades from anti cuts groups and Unite paid us a visit a welcome morale
booster as it was a freezing wet morning.
At Kings Court we had motorists piping their horns and giving us the thumbs
up always good to see. The rally at 12.00
was a short one due to the weather but good contributions from the NEC Speaker
Sue Bond, Ben Morris NUT, Tom Bishall, Branch Secretary DWP Sheffield branch. We had to do it the old fashioned way as the
PA did not arrive but despite this it was well received despite at this point
the rain.
You will note there will be other action planned soon and
the tactic to build the join coalition of unions is on-going NUT announced they
will be joining us in June and the pressure is starting to build in other
unions. Early reports from the day are below and a few pictures from the rally
