PCS DWP HQ Sheffield Branch Annual General Meeting 2013

To: All members

The annual general meeting is a key event for every branch, and all members are encouraged to attend. It is an important part of PCS’ internal democracy, and is your opportunity to have a say in how the union is run.

The AGM arrangements for 2013 are as follows:

Date:            Thursday 28 February 2013
Time:           2.30PM
Venue:         Quaker Meeting House, 10 St James Street, Sheffield S1 2EW

Nominations for posts at branch, DWP group and national level are invited, and a full list of posts for which nominations can be made is at Appendix A.

Motions are also invited for the branch, as well as group and national conferences.

Note that all nominations and motions, which can be sent electronically, must be with me no later than Thursday 7 February.

You can attend the AGM during works time - a flexi-credit of up to one and a half hours plus reasonable travelling time has been agreed.

Further information will be issued in advance of the meeting, including details of those nominations and motions received. If you have any queries relating to the AGM, please contact your PCS representative or me.
