Why not check this Austerity Calculator to see how much we are all being crapped on from a very high height Here check Check it out and share with your friends family and workmates.
The Austerity pay calculator takes into account Pensions pay freezes minimal pay increases rises in the cost of living ect.
With the cost of living – the price of food, clothes, petrol and bills – rising faster than pay, the real value of salaries is falling.
Our pay survey shows that austerity is biting hard:
• Members have seen their income fall by an average of £100 a month in the last six months.
• 88% of people have cut down on spending to get through the month.
• 54% of people said their wages don't last the month.
The calculator also shows the effect of the introduction of additional pension contributions on spending power. Austerity pay also has a long-term effect on the value of our pensions. By reducing the real value of salaries, this cuts the level of pension that you will receive when you retire.
Read and share our new pay pamphlet 'Inequality: the price of austerity'.
PCS is committed to fighting austerity pay as part of our campaign against government cuts to pensions, pay and jobs.
Don't let them get away with it stand with us fight for now but also fight and campaign for all our futures especially our kids and grand-kids future, Lets also remember we also owe a lot to previous generations lets fight like hell for what they won for us that's the best way to honour those sacrifices they made lets not be the generation that let it all slip away.
