SUPER-LOBBY DAY TO DEFEND Pensions - 14th April

LOBBYING KEY MINISTERS IN THEIR CONSTITUENCIES

In order to put further pressure on the government to positively engage and enter into genuine negotiations with unions we want reps and members to take part in co-ordinated political lobbying. The lobbies will take place on 14th April (Super Lobby Day) in key constituencies around the country. In our region the main target is Nick Clegg in Sheffield.

We want to make a big impact on the day so we are looking for a sizeable group of members, family members and members of other unions if possible, from across the region to join a protest outside Nick Clegg's Constituency office in Sheffield. We will all be holding up red 'Hands-off my pension' cards and we are hoping to attract media attention as well as having an ideal photo opportunity.

We are looking for a firm commitment from individuals that they will definitely be attending. PCS will pay travel expenses (for PCS members and family members) or lay on a coach depending on numbers.

We will need names of attendees and personal mobile numbers e-mailed for the attention of Juanita Charles leeds@pcs.org.uk no later than Tuesday 3rd April
Come and help us tell Nick Clegg to keep his hands off our pensions
