PCS DWP HQ Sheffield Branch Annual General Meeting 2012

The annual general meeting is a key event for every branch, and all members are encouraged to attend. It is an important part of PCS’ internal democracy, and is your opportunity to have a say in how the union is run.

The AGM arrangements for 2012 are as follows:

Date:              Thursday 23 February 2012

Time:             3.00PM

Venue:           Conference Room 1, Steel City House

Nominations for posts at branch, DWP group and national level are invited, and a full list of posts for which nominations can be made is at Appendix A.

Motions are also invited for the branch, as well as group and national conferences.

Note that all nominations and motions must be sent to me to arrive no later than Thursday 2 February.

A flexi-credit is usually available to attend the AGM – typically an hour and a half plus travelling time – and we are awaiting confirmation that this will be the case this year.

Further information will be issued in advance of the meeting, including details of those nominations and motions received. If you have any queries relating to the AGM, please contact your PCS representative or me.
